WORKSHOP – THE RESILIENCE OF MEMORY

The Resilience of Memory‘ is a creative dance workshop that is conducted by ‘Best Foot Forward’ dance club. Join in for an afternoon bursting with movement & creativity, where there will be a special screening of a short dance documentary film. The screening will be of the film, ‘The Resilience of Memory’ made in the summer of 2018 at Mount Congreve Estate, Waterford. The film was directed by fine art photographer, Padraig Grant. The screening will be followed by an inspiring 1 hour creative dance workshop based on the film’s themes of memory, attachment and continued resilience in older age, led by Dance Artist in Residence at Garter Lane Arts Centre, Dee Grant. This shall be followed by tea and a chat.
