ARTFORM School of Art, Monday – Thursday, March 4th – 7th at 10:00am
This is a 4 day course devoted to painting the posed nude model in oils. The first two days will be one session paintings, focusing on getting the essentials of the model. Emphasis will be placed on solid drawing and colour values and temperature. How to place the figure onto your canvas and begin to model the forms. Demonstrations and individual attention will be given to the students throughout the course. The final two days will focus on one pose allowing students to delve deeper into their paintings and into painting technique. Light/shade, anatomy, gesture, weight distribution and character will all be practiced and demonstrated.
Tuition includes model fees.
* Cost does not include accommodation. Artform also provides an artist accommodation package. Details on art materials required to participate in the course will be provided after signing up to the course.
