From Pondering to Publication is an interactive workshop with Dr Kevin Haugh PhD on a journey that explores the pros and cons, ups and downs, pitfalls and ultimate ecstasy of publishing a book.

In this workshop Kevin shares his journey of taking his two publications An Imperfect Storm and A Place I called Home from concept to reality. The search for a publisher for An Imperfect Storm, countless rejections, finding a publisher and the lessons learned.
With A Place I Called Home he shares his experience on self-publication. The pros and cons of self-publishing compared with having a publisher.
A Year of The Banner: What is it all about and where did it originate?

• Outcomes (Pluses & Minuses)

• Timescale
• Copyright
• Referencing
• Editor (Must be aware of context of the transcript and why?)
• Artist Tax Exemptions & Transparency with the Revenue Commission
• The launch event, links with local and national media, radio, newspapers, social media
• Questions on areas not covered and of concern to the group
