Cruinniú na nÓg presents local artist and arts facilitator Anne McDonnell opens the doors to her studio and invites you into the world of printmaking.

Anne will guide you through the printing process and you will leave with your very own masterpiece! McDonnell was born in Limerick and studied textiles in Galway for two years before attending Limerick School of Art and Design, where she received her Degree in Fine Art Printmaking in 1997.

Anne moved to Waterford after college, set up a small print studio with a colleague, and has been printmaking ever since. Her work is part of private and public collections; most recently, a piece has been added to Waterford’s Municipal Art collection. Anne has exhibited nationally and internationally, and for over ten years, has been on the Education Panel for the Design and Craft Council of Ireland. She gives print workshops to primary and secondary school students throughout Waterford.

Anne is currently based in GOMA Studios on Lombard Street in Waterford city, and gives print classes at their workshop.

Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
