Back Stage @The Royal returns this Friday June 21st at 8:30pm
Backstage@TheRoyal is a new initiative that provides musicians with the opportunity to showcase their work in the heart of Waterford City. The Theatre Royal has thrown open its stage doors to musicians, who are creating new and original music, to give them the opportunity to perform to their peers, fans and a music loving audience while being supported by an experienced technical team.
Come check out this cool new venue, have a beer on one of Ireland’s most historic stages while supporting the emerging artists of the future for the 2nd @Backstage gig of 2019 on Friday 21st June.
Featuring The Red Brick, Phad Hennessy & Fighting Spiders.
Doors and On-Stage Door Bar open from 8:30pm, bands onstage from 9:00pm, €6 pay on the door.

Now seen by over 250,000 people the hugely popular hit Legends of American Country show is set to make its welcome Waterford return On Saturday June 22nd to the Theatre Royal having recently won ‘Best Country Tribute Show 2019’ and what a night of toe tapping Country Music it’s going to be.
The show is enjoying huge success this year with over 100 sold out shows at prestigious theatres all across the UK and features 4 fantastic singers Joe Moore, James Mc Garrity, Rod and Tracey Mc Ailey who perform the hit songs of icons like Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Patsy cline and Don Williams to name a few in this 2-hour Country Extravaganza that will take you to Nashville and back in one night!
A full live band of top musicians coupled with an authentic stage set and state of the art sound and lighting equipment deservedly makes this the top show of its kind in Europe.
