Set in 1930s New York during The Great Depression, brave young Annie is forced to live a life of misery at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage. Her luck soon changes when she’s chosen to spend a fairytale Christmas with famous billionaire Oliver Warbucks. Meanwhile, spiteful Miss Hannigan has other ideas and hatches a plan to spoil Annie’s search for her true family…

WAMA Talent Show Final
May, Saturday 25th at 8 pm
The Waterford Talent Show is back for its fifth year and the organisers are looking for participants from Waterford and its hinterland to take part. Waterford Academy of Music and Arts (WAMA), a hive of activity for all things the arts, annually hold this talent show for young people to give them the opportunity to gain stage and performance experience to a real live audience. Previous winners have been a band, a vocalist, a dancer, and singer/songwriter, and this year who knows who could claim the top prize of €1,000!
To enter, send a short clip of you performing (mobile phone footage is fine) to FACEBOOK/WaterfordAcademy and if selected you will be invited to perform in either Heat 1 on May 10th or Heat 2 on May 17th. The Final is May 25th.
