You will receive in depth instruction and understanding of West African dance culture from dancer Bambé Mansaré a dancer of traditional West African ballet. Born in the village of Sitakoto in south central Guinea, it was here that she gained her first experience in the traditional music and dance of her country.

When Bambe was six years old she moved to the capital Conakry where she was exposed to the many different styles of music and dance of the diverse ethnicities of Guinea. Bambe joined the ballet group of Billy Konaté, “Konaté Kounda”, when she was 10 and danced with them for seven years. After that she continued training and dancing with the group “Limaniya”. She now lives in Waterford City.
