Amatis Piano Trio – Lea Hausmann (Germany) violin, Samuel Shepherd (England) cello, Mengjie Han (Holland) piano. This exhilarating young piano trio has taken the chamber music scene by storm, winning a slew of international prizes and this season were selected as ‘Rising Stars’ by the European Concert Hall Organisation, which will see them perform in 23 prestigious concert venues across Europe.

Rising Stars Ellen Jansson piano and Kevin Jansson piano
Cork siblings Ellen and Kevin Jansson bring us a range of piano pieces from chamber music concerts, competitions and orchestral concertos they are playing this autumn in Sweden, Estonia, Switzerland, Dublin (NCO) and Belfast (Ulster Orchestra). Kevin’s debut CD was issued by Swiss Claves Records in 2017.

Ireland’s leading Chamber Orchestra returns to Waterford under the baton of their Principal Conductor/Artistic Partner Jörg Widmann, whose irrepressible energy and musical insight promises an unforgettable evening. The programme comprises music by well-known composers Puccini and Tchaikovsky together with Stamitz’s Clarinet Concerto and a new commission from Sebastian Adams.

Solstice week Stars Tara Erraught mezzo-soprano & Derbhla Collins piano.Dundalk-born Tara Erraught has been resident principal soloist with the Bayerische Staatsoper since 2010, and has been highly acclaimed in opera and recital in the US, Asia, and Europe. Accompanied here by the accomplished pianist Derbhla Collins, Tara will sing Operatic and mid-Winter favourites, including arias by Mozart and Rossini.
