WATERFORD HEALING ARTS TRUST SEEKS MUSIC CO-ORDINATOR TO JOIN TEAM

Waterford Healing Arts Trust (WHAT) is seeking to recruit a Music Co-ordinator/ Administration Assistant to co-ordinate their Healing Sounds and Iontas Arts and Mental Health programmes. WHAT is Ireland’s leading arts and health programme and brings arts experiences to the bedside of patients at University Hospital Waterford (UHW) and other healthcare settings. Music is at the heart of the work of WHAT and this is a great opportunity for a person interested in music to gain valuable experience in this growing area. The role of the Music Co-ordinator/ Administration Assistant involves working with and supporting the WHAT panel of musicians who deliver the Healing Sounds programme at UHW and the Iontas Arts and Mental Health programme at a number of settings in the wider Waterford community. It is a rewarding role where the right person has the opportunity to work with professional musicians and witness firsthand the benefits of bringing live music into various healthcare settings.
