Waterford Art Group was formed almost fifty years ago and was initially a collection of artists that met occasionally and shared their experience and wisdom with the view to improving their artwork. Many famous Waterford artists have been members of the group.
The group currently has 24 members consisting of professional and semi professional artists whose work represents a wide variety of styles and media and who play an important role in the promotion of the visual arts in Waterford. A number of members regulary exhibit their work nationally and these accomplished artists are included in many of today’s art collections.
