12th April – 17th May every Tuesday, 7pm – 8:30pm Central Arts in association with South Paw Book Art presents ‘Unwind and Bind, A six week Book Art workshop.
Week 1 – Introduction to book art Make a set of simple books for single sheets of paper.
Week 2 – single signature Note book soft covers Making Paste paper decoration for the cover.
Week 3 – multiple signature notebook Hard cover [ case bound] decoupage / collage on cover & pages.
Week 4 – Japanese stab binding ( single sheets bound Block printing ,Lino block, stamps etc.
Week 5 – contemporary/ unusual bindings & materials plan for unique bespoke book projects for each participant.
Week 6 – finishing the books from week 5.
Cost of Course €120 per person inc materials.
