The Arts Office, Waterford City & County Council is offering Waterford Writers’ the opportunity to attend the Molly Keane Writers Retreat in Ardmore, Co. Waterford free of charge. A number of non residential bursaries are on offer for a three day writing retreat ‘Time to Write’ with Lani O’ Hanlon from 16th to 18th August 2019 inclusive.

Molly Keane Writers Retreat, Friday 16th to Sunday 18th August 2019
Daily Schedule: Arrive at 9:30am for refreshments to begin at 10:00am
Finish at 5:30pm approx.
Cost for 3 days: €250 including light lunch and refreshments.
Whether you have a project that needs to be finished, are just starting out, or floundering somewhere in the middle, this focused three-day retreat will give you space and time to concentrate on your own writing, moving through the blocks that normally hinder your progress, at any stage of the creative process. Held in the cocoon of the Molly Keane Writers Retreat, with its famed and historic hospitality, and by Lani O’ Hanlon’s subtle, grounded and intuitive, creative support, participants will meet each morning for a focused writing workshop – 10:00am – 11:30am. Participants will then retreat for a concentrated writing hour and a half before meeting for a light lunch at 1:30pm.
In the afternoons another hour and a half of concentrated writing or you are free to explore the beach, the garden or the cliff and dream into your project, before gathering for afternoon tea and another focused workshop. You will also avail of a one to one, forty minute consultation.
