We are delighted to invite you to a makers workshop, Threads & Stitches by Artist Mary Butler.
This is a free event but booking is essential.

The workshop will explore the creative possibilities of fabric & simple hand stitches. Exploring materials, colour & texture participants will work with recycled fabrics to create a textile composition
Mary will show images & examples of a selection of her own textile-based work from over the years
No previous experience is needed to join this making session and all material is provided.
NB People are also welcome to bring their own fabric / materials. They don’t need swathes of fabric just scraps off cuts etc
They are also welcome to bring braid, ribbon, buttons etc
Mary’s current solo exhibition titled Spatial is currently being exhibited until 16th of July.
