We all stumble across hard times in life and sometimes it’s how we deal with it that makes all the difference.
The January Show is set in Waterford. A coming of age story told through music and memory of a young girls fight with obsession, sexuality, loss, dysfunction and the desire to overcome the whirl that is this world. Nobody is perfect, especially your parents but what doesn’t break you will make you, but be sure not to break.

Anna Jordan is a local playwright, modpoet, writing facilitator, mother of three and publican’s daughter. This is her first full play since ‘The Bannisters’ in 2012 and her fourth production with Stagemad.
Anna is involved heavily in the arts scene in Waterford with projects such as Waterford Walls, Modword open mic sessions, Spraoi, Waterford Youth Arts and so on. Waterford is an inspiration in itself and a wonderful place to be artistically. We are what we make ourselves.
