About your facilitator:
Christina Drennan is a Kilkenny-based visual artist working in textiles and mixed media. Her practice explores storytelling, memory, and sustainability through intuitive stitchwork, reclaimed fibres, and refashioned materials. Christina builds abstract, tactile compositions that honour the emotional and material histories of cloth.
She has shown her work in community and gallery spaces across the southeast of Ireland, including Waterford City Library and The Old Market House Arts Centre, and is currently preparing for a solo exhibition at the Watergate Theatre in Kilkenny. Deeply passionate about the creative process, Christina also leads workshops rooted in care, creativity, and connection — offering participants a space to slow down, explore materials, and rediscover the joy of making.
