Waterford Healing Arts Trust, Wednesday 9th October 2019 at 10:30am

As part of the Well Festival of Arts and Wellbeing 2019, artist Tess Leak, puppeteer Eoin Lynch, activities co-ordinator Sarah Cairns and composer Justin Grounds will present a CPD session on 9 October for artists interested in facilitating cross-artform participatory projects in care settings for older people.
They will draw on their experience of developing an interactive performance with a group of residents at St Joseph’s Ward, Bantry General Hospital, in this inspiring workshop.
The morning workshop will be followed in the afternoon by a performance of Stories from the Well-field at 2:00pm. Set in a ‘Well-field’ during a raucous village fair, this heart-warming interactive performance brings to life poems about childhood friends, kindness and dancing foxes, created by residents of St Joseph’s Ward, Bantry General Hospital, in collaboration with Tess Leak, Eoin Lynch, Justin Grounds and supported by Sarah Cairns. Interaction is encouraged.
This project is part of the West Cork Arts for Health Programme and is funded by an Arts Council Arts Participation Project Award. For more information on the programme Click Here
