Waterford Healing Arts Trust has organised Stars at Night Lantern-making Workshops with artist Tom Meskell in the WHAT Centre for Arts & Health. We are seeking people to help Tom Meskell make star lanterns to help light up the night at University Hospital Waterford (UHW) as part of the Well Festival of Arts and Wellbeing 2018.
The workshops take place on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 September. There are 6 options for participation as follows which can be selected via the link above:

Friday morning workshop 10.00am – 12.30pm
Friday afternoon workshop 1.30pm – 4.00pm
All day Friday 10.00am – 4.00pm – (bring lunch)
Saturday 22 September
Saturday morning workshop 10.00am – 12.30pm
Saturday afternoon workshop 1.30pm – 4.00pm
All day Saturday 10.00am – 4.00pm – (bring lunch)
You can attend one session or two sessions each day, for the same price.

The star lanterns will be lit up at UHW every night from Monday 8 to Friday 12 October during this year’s Well Festival of Arts and Wellbeing. More details from www.wellwaterford.com
Well Festival of Arts and Wellbeing is presented by Waterford Healing Arts Trust, Garter Lane Arts Centre and Waterford City and County Libraries. Now in its 6th year, and coinciding with World Mental Health Day, World Hospice Day and International Day of the Girl, this multidisciplinary, fun and accessible festival champions the links between arts and wellbeing with a wide-ranging programme of innovative events for all ages across all art forms, including music, art, theatre, dance, film and literature.
