Waterford’s very own Happy Robot Productions are delighted to announce their upcoming production of Frank McGuinness’s classic Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me.
Based on the true story of three hostages held against their will in Lebanon, McGuinness has penned a powerfully dramatic play combining poignancy, tragedy and humour. The characters, an Irishman, an American and an Englishman, at times battle with their cultural differences but their instinct for survival forces them to realise they are stronger together. Their imprisonment compels them to explore the power of imagination to escape the daily fear, despair and boredom; making this a play not to be missed!
