SEEMS LEGIT

Seems Legit!

Central Arts, Waterford, on Saturday March 24th at 10pm

Seems Legit! are back with a rather tasty looking line up on the night featuring, Cailín, Eddie Galavan, Kiva Oates and Dots

Cailín has being making waves in the past few years with her residency for Dublin’s Subject/District 8 and numerous appearances at events and festivals across the country. With Cailín’s unique take on house and techno and a love for vinyl she has forged a path that has seen her play along side the likes of Jeff Mills, Ben Klock, Levon Vincent, Paula Temple, Ben Ufo.

With recent gigs in Paris and an upcoming gig in London she is starting to gain some well deserved recognising outside of these shores. As a producer, Cailín released her first track titled “first taste” which came out in 2017 on a v/a triple pack vinyl compilation from the brilliant Dublin based label Jheri Tracks. On support and opening the night we have Seems Legit! resident Eddie Galavan. You can catch Eddie every second Wednesday night from 10pm on Dublin Digital Radio (DDR) and also on Amsterdam’s Red Light Radio with a new show scheduled for early summer after two memorable appearances in 2017.  Also on the bill we have Tramore’s Kiva Oates making her Seems Legit! debut. Kiva’s sound is rave influenced techno, trance, acid and house.

With a string of gigs lined up for 2018 and a work ethic and determination like no other, expect big things from Kiva over the next twelve months and beyond. Keep an out for Kiva’s radio shows on Phever.ie called The Fear and Open Tempo 105.1fm.  To round off the support acts we have David “Dots” Byrne from New Ross making a come back to the scene after many years away from it. An avid record collector and dj back in the late 90’s early 2000’s its great to have Dots in for a well deserved gig. Expect a night of quality house/techno/electronica from start to finish and that rave vibe that comes from a Seems Legit! party. Central Arts new Pioneer sound system will be in action on the night also.

Doors open at 10pm, door tax is set to an easy on the pocket €10. Over 18’s – ID is Required. Visit www.centralarts.ie for more details. Hope to see you there!
