Gallery 20ten, 21st September – 19th October at 6:30pm

‘Seascape Metamorphosis’ is an exciting new collection of digital photographs by Milia Tsaoussis-Maddock. Inspired by the sea and its shoreline, the captivating images reveal a world full of mystery – a landscape where ordinary becomes extraordinary.
Born and educated in the USA, Milia grew up in Greece and spent time exploring its land and seascapes. Describing her latest collection she speaks of being drawn by the shapes, textures and movement of our environment, discovering micro landscapes.
Milia moved to Ireland from the states in 1991 setting up a Landscape Architecture practice, and lectured part-time at UCD and WIT. Balancing work and family life, Milia resumed painting and photography in 2005.
A founding member of Group 20ten with whom she exhibits regularly, Milia had a solo exhibition in Waterford Museum of Treasures in 2010, and her work was featured at Garter Lane Arts Centre in 2011.
Gallery 20ten is open from 1:00 – 5:00pm, every Wednesday – Saturday and is supported by Waterford City & County Council and the Tower Hotel.
Gallery 20ten, 18a Lombard Street, Waterford.
