Sonic Arts Waterford pioneers a festival of experimental electronic music & arts in Waterford.
Sonic Arts Waterford is currently accepting proposals from musicians, visual/video artists and workshop providers in the field of experimental electronic arts to participate in SAW Festival in Waterford on 20th-22nd September 2013.
SAW Festival is a cross-cultural project focused on presenting cutting edge sounds and visuals from local, national and international artists. The event is unique to Ireland and will include performances, musician-led workshops and talks in the area of sound manipulation, field recording and circuit bending. The selected artists will have their show in Waterford arts venues such as Garter Lane and SOMA Gallery.
Proposals should include a bio, links to previous and current work and any other relevant information. Submissions should display a high standard of approach to experimental and electronic audio/visual art.
Closing date for entries is Thursday, 20th June.
