Old Market House Arts Centre, 1st to 28th February 2022
Waterford Spraoí has created a large-scale art installation on the Arts Centre’s external walls which will be illuminated at night. It will remain in-situ throughout February.
Salute to Spring will include soundtracks created by West Waterford artists including Moe Dunford (Actor), Áine Uí Fhoghlú (Poet), George Higgs (Musician/Composer), and Hannah Carberry (Writer). The soundtracks will be available via QR Code and can be listened to on mobile phones and other devices.
Launch: 1st February from 3pm to 6pm.
For the launch of the new external art installation, Salute to Spring, in association with Spraoi Waterford, there will be a live Outside Broadcast by WLRfm in Lower Main Street next Tuesday, 1st February from 3pm to 6pm, during which time the installation will be lit up.
Spraoi will have the artists involved doing interviews.
