This year celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Yeats International Summer School. It will take place in Sligo between July 25th and August 2nd. The full programme of events can be reviewed here.
Directors Professor Matthew Campbell and Professor Lauren Arrington will present an intriguing programme that follows in the fine Summer School tradition of offering a unique learning experience through the sharing of ideas and opinions, during both the formal and informal events of the programme.
The host for the 2019 Summer School Poetry Workshop is Irish poet and critic Caitríona O’Reilly.
Poetry Ireland and the Yeats Summer School are delighted to offer a scholarship worth €650 for a poet to attend the Yeats Summer School.
Eligibility:
The scholarship is aimed at writers who have published at least two collections, who are Irish or who are resident on the island of Ireland.
