The course will run over 3 days and will cover the following areas:
General introduction to the camera and how it works. Relationship between iso/aperture/speed. Introduction to framing, composition and reading/understanding light source and temperature.
Discussion about sequencing a body of work, project/series based. Outlining a project focus and understanding the elements that will create a narrative.
Practical application of above in the surrounding area of the school. Analysis of the groups images by the group.
As a weather alternative we might also run a portrait section to the course. This will include basic lighting techniques and practice with models.
* Cost does not include accommodation. Artform also provides an artist accommodation package. Details on art materials required to participate in the course will be provided after signing up to the course.
