Day seminar on Internet safety, Social media, Online gaming for under 18s. Online reputation & What parents and students need to know about the online world.

We are running 3 sessions dealing with Kids,Tweens and Teenagers. We will talk about the appropriate length of time online (phone) on a daily basis. We will be addressing all of the pertinent issues of the day and won’t shy away from the tough issues. Social Media, Online gaming, Phones Usage, Snapchat, Instagram, Hate Messaging, Fake Accounts, Correct Profile setup, Right No. of Followers, Privacy settings.
Seminars are for everyone, including first timers, just tipping their toe in the water, What’s Snapchat? What’s Instagram? Why we think ‘Tik Tok’ is not good anymore for young kids, who originally embraced it as Musical.ly. Gaming online, Roblox, Fortnite will be actively discussed too.
BeSecureOnline gives 100’s of school talks each year, so we have vast experience dealing with kids, and advising schoolgoers of all ages how ‘to win, not lose’ when using their phone.
We will talk about Netiquette, using the phone in discreet inoffensive ways as kids enter the adult world. For Teenagers we will touch on Online Reputation, Bullying, Sexting in appropriate yet realistic ways.
Parents will understand social media, the platforms, what guidelines, usage levels are right for their children. What platforms their kids should be using, and for how long, each day. As well as a number of discussion points for their family phone usage to build positivity, wellbeing and prevent negativity, hate messaging, bullying etc.
