GOMA Gallery of Modern Art Waterford invites submissions for our annual winter exhibition of Fine and Applied Arts.
We welcome work in all disciplines, including painting, sculpture, lens based media, printmaking, ceramics, glass and installation.
This open call offers an opportunity for graduates, emerging artists, and established practitioners to showcase their work in a professional gallery setting.
There is no fee to apply. Submissions are free for all artists.
How to apply
Please include all elements of your application in one single PDF document, including the following:
- An Artist Statement/Biography & CV
- Images of the work you would like to submit for the exhibition, including titles and dimensions beside each work (max 3 images)
Submissions should be emailed to submissionsgomawaterford@gmail.com with the subject line ‘Open Call’. Deadline for submissions is Wednesday 15th October 2025 at 5pm.
Artists will be informed if their application was successful by Monday 3rd November.
Delivery of work
Delivery dates for work if successful: Tuesday 25th to Thursday 27th November of 2025, 10am-5pm for successful applicants. Artists must arrange the delivery of their work to GOMA.
Work will be received only between the stated hours, after which under no circumstances will any work be received without prior arrangement with GOMA Gallery of Modern Art.
Collection of work
Collection of work once exhibition has ended: Monday 12th to Friday 16th January 2026, 10am–5pm
Sale of Work
All sales are subject to 25% commission during the continuance of the exhibition. All sales are managed by GOMA Gallery of Modern Art.
