Under new management Hive looks forward to the launch of a successful winter program, teeming with cultural events which offer affordable alternatives to the mainstream evening social scene of Waterford City Centre. Under the artistic direction of Jessica Terry & a dedicated team of artists & volunteers Hive will offer solace from the winter cold with original culture in the form of visual art, live music, classes, workshops, DJs, films, documentaries, games, theatre, poetry & much more. The program kicks off this Thursday November 5th with our partners Labyrinth Management & Events. Lorcan Reidy, Sam Keating, & Collides present an evening of music free to ticket holders of this months Between the Bars gig (or €3 corkage & admission). Between the bars this month features In the Willows, Casanova Wave & Elm on November 14th.
Hive Culture Hub opens regularly Tuesday to Saturday 5 until 9 & late during events. Hive Emerging (est. 2008) is a not for profit arts space dedicated to the emerging arts.
