Waterford Music is delighted to bring you the voices of celebrated local musicians Róisín O’Grady (soprano) & Bridget Knowles (mezzo-soprano), accompanied on piano by Deirdre Collins, at the Large Room, City Hall, Waterford on Thursday 28 March at 7:30 pm. They will perform a selection of vocal duets and solos by Purcell, Mozart, Fauré, Strauss, Schubert and much more!

Soprano Roisin O’Grady has performed with orchestras and choral societies throughout Ireland including the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the Irish Baroque Orchestra.  She is a member of the early music duo tonos who performed in the John Field Room, NCH and was broadcast in concert by Lyric FM.

Mezzo-soprano Bridget Knowles has graced many top national and international stages including the National Concert Hall, the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London and the Händel-Halle in Germany. She has performed with Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Welsh National Opera, the Irish Baroque Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra and Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, and has worked with such conductors as Sir Charles Mackerras, Alessandro Anissimov William Christie, and Prionnsias O’Duinn.
