This is a wonderful evening of music hosted by Octavate to raise money for the XLc Project. some of the acts include, Edmund Rice Choral Society, WAMA Spraoi Drummers, Sean and Kevin and from ceoltas Niamh Cusack and Eve Crotty.

The XLc Project is an alternative education centre where people can come and sit the state exams in a friendly stress free environment. It has helped hundreds of young people who found themselves marginalised from mainstream education achieve the junior and leaving cert, giving them a chance of a brighter future.

XLc was started by Nuala & Eoin Jackson in Oct. 1998 and is still going strong. The ever-increasing numbers of students seeking their help and the impressive Leaving & Junior Cert results, stand as a testament to their philosophies and pedagogy.

Come along on Saturday November 9th to St. John’s Church and enjoy an evening of great talent and music!
