Waterford City & County Council’s Arts Office is offering Waterford Writers’ the opportunity to attend the Molly Keane Writers Retreat Week in Ardmore, Co. Waterford free of charge. A number of non residential bursaries are on offer for a three day writing retreat ‘ Time to Write’ with Lani O’ Hanlon from 10th to 12th September 2017 inclusive. The closing date for receipt of applications is 12 noon on Monday 17th July 2017.
‘Time to Write’ with Lani O’Hanlon
Whether you have a project that needs to be finished, are just starting out, or floundering somewhere in the middle, this focused three day retreat will give you the space and time to concentrate on your own writing.
Held in the cocoon of the Molly Keane Writers Retreat, with its famed and historic hospitality, and by Lani O’ Hanlon’s subtle and intuitive, creative energy, we will meet each morning for a focused relaxation and writing warm-up.
We will then retreat to write for two to three hours before meeting for a light lunch provided by our hostess Virginia Brownlow. In the afternoons you are then free to explore the beach, the garden or the cliff and dream into your project, or continue with your writing, before gathering for afternoon tea and an optional sharing of a small section from your day’s work.
Lani will be available each afternoon for a forty minute consultation on your creative process.

Daily Schedule : Arrive at 9.30 to begin at 10.00 until 1pm
Afternoon 2 – 4pm end with tea and de-brief. Finish at 5pm.
