WHATlogo2008 2 6 15Waterford Healing Arts Trust (WHAT) will present a live performance by harpist Una McSweeney as part of its Healing Sounds programme in the foyer of University Hospital Waterford (UHW) on Tuesday 13 March at 1.30pm.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Healing Sounds in the Foyer is a programme of monthly live music performances which aims to promote the positive relationship between music, health and wellbeing and to reduce stress and anxiety for patients, visitors and staff.

UnaMcSweeneyPressPicUna McSweeney is a native of Dunmore East and developed her interest in the harp while studying to be a primary school teacher. Having trained at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and the Dublin College of Music, she left teaching to pursue her music career full time, studying under Mercedes Garvey and Denise Kelly. Una has performed nationally and internationally for many years and has attended master classes with leading world harpists Maria Robles and Edward Witzenberg.
