Weekly Theatre Workshops
Exciting times ahead for Little Red Kettle who are getting settled in their new premises in Central Hall within the Viking Triangle. They will now be kicking off their spring/summer programme with some new programmes that may be of interest to all budding or well established young actors and artists out there.
Little Red Kettle is now taking bookings for their weekly workshops for young people in drama and acting, Big Colourdee Creative stuff and mask-making and puppetry.
Classes will be held over a course of 8 weeks beginning the week of 13th of May. Under the guidance of the Red Kettle team, that will include Liam Meagher, Ben Hennessy and Nick Kavanagh, young people from ages 5 right up to 16 will have an opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends and have tonnes of fun. The classes and times on offer for our first term are as follows:
Monday 3.00 – 4.00: Drama ages 9 to 12
4.45 – 6.15: Mask Making for ages 13 to 16
Tuesday 3.00 – 4.00: Drama for ages 5 to 8
Wednesday 4.30 – 6.00: Theatre Practice ages 13 to 16
Thursday 3.00 – 4.00: Art for ages 5 to 8
4.15 – 5.45: Art for ages 9 to 12
The workshops cost €64 for the 8-week term, and if there are two children in a family attending, there is a special rate of €110 for both.
