In these live online Half-Day Workshops, beginners will be introduced to the Art of Black Ink Painting and will learn about materials, basic brushstrokes and techniques used for painting grasses, flowers, trees and mountains.

Sumi-e is the Japanese word for the Art of Black Ink Painting. It is a unique art form using only black ink, handmade paper and a special brush.

Suitable for Beginners or as a review/refresher for those who have previously attended.
