IVAN DALY’S WATERFORD COASTAL LANDSCAPES

Niall MacMonagle wrote in the Sunday Independent, June 11, 2023 “Daly’s paintings capture the dramatic and rugged coastline of his native Waterford, from Newtown Head, through the Copper Coast Geopark to Clonea Strand.

“Land, sea and sky glow in the sun and the viewer is the only human presence in these beautiful empty shore and seascapes.”

Ivan grew up in Ballinroad, Dungarvan and graduated with a Degree in Printmaking from Limerick School of Art & Design; his work forms part of national and international collections.

He has exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy and Royal Ulster Academy annual exhibitions, and throughout Ireland, the UK and in Singapore. Daly was a contestant in Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year 2015.
