The Symphony Club of Waterford are delighted to welcome back The Irish Symphonic Wind Orchestra to Waterford on Sunday 15th September, 7.30 pm at the WIT ARENA.
Directed by Scottish conductor Mark Heron, and featuring Trombonist Michael Marshall

(RTE Concert Orchestra), this 80 piece wind orchestra will perform ‘Portraits of Two Islands’ which celebrates the music of Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales. The programme includes music by :
- Philip Sparke: Songs from Across the Water
- Fergal Carroll: Zethus
- Tom Harrold: Acrid Lines
- Tom Davoren: Return to the White City
- Matthew Taylor: Blasket Dances
- Gary Carpenter: Latchford Locks
- Adam Gorb: Downtown Diversions. Trombone and Wind Band.
