EVENT TAKING PLACE THE 25th AUGUST 2012: Irish Georgian Society committee member, Letitia Pollard together with Eamonn McEneaney, head of the Waterford Treasures Medieval Museum, have arranged a day tour of Waterford City which will include visits to the Cathedrals, the restored Bishop’s Palace and Reginald’s Tower.
The group will also be the first to visit the new Medieval Museum in the Choristers’ Hall, which will showcase the treasures of medieval Waterford.
Tickets are €40 and includes lunch and refreshments in the Bishop’s Palace Cafe. The tour departs from Dublin Heuston Station to Waterford on 9.10am train and return at 4.50pm or 6.20pm (own cost).
