GOMA | Exhibition from Thurday 12th December – Sunday 12th January 2020 [Preview 13th Dec at 6:30 p.m.] | Deadline for Submissions Tuesday 26th November 2019 at 5 p.m.
GOMA Gallery of Modern Art is proud to announce its fourth annual members open exhibition of fine and applied arts. Submissions may be in any discipline: painting, sculpture, new media, printmaking, ceramics, glass, photography, and installation.
This open submission is an opportunity for graduates, emerging and established artists. We are proud to say that this year we are offering up the process with no handling fee required.
Deadline for submissions is the 26th November at 5 p.m.
Each submission must include:
- Completed Submission Form [Submission forms here]
- Artist Statement, Biography & C.V.
- Images (maximum of 3)
Applications may be made by email via gomawaterford@gmail.com, post or hand delivered to GOMA, Gallery of Modern Art, 6 Lombard Street, Waterford City, X91 F2XP. All submissions must contain a completed submission form together with images [no more than 3], artist statement, biography and C.V..
No registration or handling fee is required and artists may only submit a maximum of three works for consideration. Submissions may be in any discipline, including but not limited to: painting, sculpture, new media, printmaking, ceramics, glass, photography, and installation.
Delivery of Work
Wednesday 4th – Monday the 9th of December, 12.30-5.30pm for successful applicants.
Artists will be informed if their application was successful within one week of the closing date. All work chosen must be delivered to GOMA Gallery of Modern Art. Work will be received only between the stated hours, after which under no circumstances will any work be received without prior permission of GOMA Gallery of Modern Art.
Collection of Work
Monday 13th- Friday 17th of January, 10am – 5.30pm
Sale of Work
All sales are subject to 25% commission during the continuance of the exhibition. All sales are managed by GOMA Gallery of Modern Art. NB The price stated on the application form is the total price payable by the purchaser (to include 25% commission).
