Copper Coast Geopark Visitor Centre, 22th May – 13th June at 11.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.
The Copper Coast Geopark Visitor Centre is located in a beautiful renovated former church in the seaside village of Bunmahon Co. Waterford. The location is the perfect starting point for exploring the Copper Coast UNESCO Global Geopark. The Copper Coast Geopark Exhibition will have free entry all day so it is the perfect opportunity to avail of the services. The cafe will be serving tea and coffee as well as delicious, homemade lunch options such as soup of the day.
The Copper Coast Geopark stretches along the coast from Garrarus beach, near Fenor in the East to Ballyvoile Beach near Stradbally to the West and to Kill and Dunhill. Many fun activities will take place such as free entry to the mining, geology and heritage exhibition. A miners photo booth, tombola, market stalls, geology talk & workshop.
