Four Rivers is a new theatre initiative for the South East. Headed up by Director Ben Barnes and Producer John O Connell, Four Rivers (working in association with the Theatre Royal Waterford) is committed to producing professional theatre in and for the South East of the country (Wexford, Kilkenny, Carlow and Waterford).
As part of its remit Four Rivers, on a project by project basis, will prioritise employing career professional actors, creative team and support personnel who are based in – or with family connections to – the region.
To this end we are inviting applicants in the areas of:
Acting, Stage Management, Touring Lighting Technician, Production Management and Marketing.
To submit expressions of interest: please include your CV and, in the case of actors, please also supply a headshot.
In 2020, Four Rivers will produce and tour Translations by Brian Friel and Blackbird by David Harrower (August-November).
For the future, we are also keen to develop a database of professional theatre practitioners in the South East.
Four Rivers is supported by the Arts Council and by the South East Local Authorities.
Partner Venues include The National Opera House, Wexford Arts Centre, Garter Lane, Theatre Royal, Visual Carlow, The Watergate, St. Michael’s, New Ross, Central Arts and the Little Theatre, Gorey.
