This exquisite documentary, shot in 1971, is directed by George Morrison, director of the ground-breaking historical films Mise Éire and Saoirse?. The film These Stones Remain (28 minutes) has as its theme the artistry of stone sculpture and engraving in Ireland from the earliest times to the Middle Ages. This engaging film is beautifully shot and reveals in splendid detail Ireland’s history in stone.
