Wexford Town Library, Friday mornings during term, 10.30am to 12.30pm
Wexford County Council Public Library Service, through the Reader in Residence programme, will bring the hugely successful Fighting Words creative writing project to Wexford Town Library in 2019. Fighting Words Wexford will be offering free creative writing workshops for primary school children living in County Wexford.
Volunteers Invited
Would you like to volunteer to join this initiative?. Each session will be held on a Friday morning from 10.30am -12.30pm during term time. All volunteers will be given Fighting Words training to deliver this creating writing programme for students in Wexford Town Library. Volunteer tutors are people from all walks of life. Anyone who enjoys working in a creative environment, and is a good listener, is welcome to volunteer. You don’t need to be a writer or a teacher to be a Fighting Words volunteer. Each person can volunteer for the dates that suit their circumstances.
