Garter Lane, A Little Room, Tuesday June 4th at 6 pm
This month, Waterford Young Arts Critics are the resident artists in A Little Room Developmental space in Garter Lane Arts Centre.
Waterford Young Arts Critics are a group of teens between the ages of 13 & 17 years old. WYAC meet fortnightly for arts workshops and also visit exhibitions, plays and art events. Working with creative professionals in Waterford such as Hayley K Stuart (Photography), Gary Kenneally (Video & Motion), and Neill MacCann (Graphic Design) WYAC have created a group exhibition made up of a selection of portraits and stop motion video.
WYAC have created a personal exhibition exploring life as a modern teen – Stop the Motion : Looking at Life Through a Teen Lens exploring the freedom of youth, childhood fun with friends & self-confidence. Stop the Motion exhibition pays homage to Eva O’Leary’s Spitting Image.
Stop the Motion is engaging, fun, friendly and an exciting project.
