Elements is a new multiorganizational collaborative curatorial project between South East Technical University (SETU), Garter Lane Arts Centre, and the Waterford Gallery of Art (WGOA). The project looks to foster new creative partnerships, encourage collective ways of working and develop long lasting artistic networks within Waterford.
Funded by Creative Ireland, 3rd year SETU Visual Arts Students, Garter Lane and WGOA will develop a series of talks, workshops and activities with the aim of generating a jointly conceived outcome. With support from two of the leading arts organisations in Waterford and a programme of invited artists and curators, students will explore and extract key visual elements found within the County’s civic art collection. The physical outcome of this project will see works exhibited at the main SETU campus and at key locations across the city.
