1980s/90s music legend and Waterford native, David Clementine, introduces (via satellite link-up from Beverly Hills) an incredible new documentary about his stunning rags-to-riches-to-rehab story.
This will be an emotionally harrowing yet highly entertaining audio-visual panorama of his extraordinary life, countless loves and myriad addictions. Featuring candid interviews with his good friends Bono, Elton John, Simon Cowell (and others) – From Blaas To Beverly Hills is the first official in-depth study of the man behind the music – and the demons that drive him.
The 22 minute documentary will be followed by the exclusive world premiere of David Clementine’s miraculous comeback music video – “I Never Thought It Was Over Til You Blocked Me On Facebook”.
As per Mr Clementine’s precise instructions, phones must be turned ON at the start of the documentary – and #Clementine tweeted throughout.
Free wine and red lead-sausage blaas will also be served during this most important Culture Night event.
