Culture Night was aimed at people who wouldn’t normally get a chance to savour some of the city’s most artistic offerings.
Culture Night is an initiative co-ordinated by Temple Bar Cultural Trust and supported by the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht in partnership with the regional arts offices and local authorities throughout the island of Ireland.

The Waterford Europe Direct Centre is working with the City’s Arts office to present a day long programme for Waterford’s tots to tweens with information and taster sessions on what Waterford has to offer its mini culture vultures. All events are free and take place in Central Library, Lady Lane Booking is essential.

Enjoy dance and music with your baby in a workshop specially designed for parents of babies and toddlers. Parents and babies will be guided by local dance artist Libby Seward.

Hullabaloo’s Noeleen Dooley and Caroline Hennessy will bring Eric Carle’s ‘Little Cloud’ story to life for preschoolers and their parents and carers. Be a little cloud for the morning – Little Cloud likes to stand out from the crowd. When all the other clouds drift up, he goes his own way, changing shapes to become a sheep, an airplane, a shark and a funny clown. Storytelling will be followed with a hands-on arts and craft workshop.
