Garter Lane Arts Centre welcomes over 30,000 visitors annually and is supported by the Arts Council, Waterford City Council, the Department of Social Protection, its Patrons, and Friends, and sponsored by Sanofi.
The Arts Centre has been at the heart of the community of Waterford for over 30 years, through its diverse year-round programme of exhibitions, performances, classes, workshops, talks, screenings, and outreach programme.
About the Creative Facilitators Panel Open Call
Garter Lane Arts Centre is seeking to create a panel of creative facilitators to support the delivery of our Creative Arts Programme 2024/25. All mediums/disciplines are welcome to apply.
Do you have a passion and experience in teaching art classes, or performative arts sessions? If so, then we would be delighted to hear from you and hear all about your work. Open to creative professionals: artists, craftspeople, filmmakers, dance artists, illustrators, designers, street artists, and theatre makers and more.
We welcome applicants who have contributed to programs such as Bealtaine, SprÓg, seasonal workshops, National Drawing Day, Culture Night and/or bespoke events tailored to exhibitions and multidisciplinary ancillary programming.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview and/or audition as relevant and successful candidates must be willing to go through a Garda Vetting process.
Criteria for Selection
- Quality of artist’s practice
- Level of relevant experience
- Previous experience in arts facilitation
- Availability of Artist
Artist Pay: Artists are invited to submit their rates per workshop.
How to Apply
- A current CV with contact details (maximum 2 pages)
- A brief biography including facilitation experience.
- Three/Five images of appropriate facilitation work.
- Two references relating to facilitation.
All of the above should be compiled into one pdf document. Marked with the applicant’s name. Due to restrictions on permitted email file size, the PDF document must not exceed 3MB.
