The Garter Lane Arts Centre courtyard will transform into a carnival of music on Culture Night with performances by Lorcan Reidy, Backroad Smokers Club and Kelly and the Cosmonauts.

Waterford’s South East/Culture Award Winners Stagemad Theatre Company presents “16 for 1916”.
A Collaboration, celebration and remembrance of The 1916 Rising through the eyes of Waterford writers. Four 16 minute plays written by Shauna Farrell, Martina Collender, Shannon Phelan and Natasha Everett explore our relationship with 1916 in the Ireland of 2016. “16 for 1916” is set in a nondescript location and will bring you on a funny, vibrant and powerful portrayal of ordinary people back then and now.
