Take part in our first workshop of 2024! This collage workshop will be led by Wexford-based visual artist Ciaran Bowen, whose solo exhibition New Horizon takes place in GOMA from 10th January – 4th February 2024.
Ciaran Bowen’s upcoming solo exhibition New Horizon will take place in GOMA Waterford from 10th January – 4th February 2024. The Wexford-based artist’s work focuses on the materiality of paint and how it can be manipulated and pushed – drying sheets of paint and then cutting, collaging, printing and flooding the surface of the work. Bowen is drawn to not only the surface of the work, but the interplay of material and forms and how they intersect.
The artist will host a collage workshop this January at GOMA Waterford that gives insight into his processes and approaches to materials.
