Papercut Techniques

craft2Draw cut and fold! Learn the craft of papercutting to transform a single sheet of paper into your very own masterpiece. Children will engage in the making process behind Paul Bokslag’s papercut installation to explore, pattern, form, and movement, to create two and three dimensional papercuts. For more info click here.

Clay Creatures

shop2Let your imagine run wild! This fun workshop will be delivered by local maker Maeve Sookram of Sevensisters Ceramics, who specialises in hand-built ceramics. Inspired by Own Quinlan’s clay forms and using a variety of mixed materials and tools for special effects and textures, children will make their own clay creature to take home. for more info click here.

Pom Pom Mirror

mh2Inspired by the work of interactive digital artist Daniel Rozins, get crafty and capture your silhouette using your own handmade wool pom pom ’s, with local print and textile artist Sandra Mc Allister. Pom pom making is a unique skill that can be used for homemade jewellery, in fashion, party decorations and more. For more info click here.
