Central Arts July Comedy Club – Part of the Summer in the City Festival

Have a midweek laugh as Central Arts in association with the Lisa Richards Agency presents a double-bill of two top stand-up comedians each Wednesday in July!
Some of Ireland’s hottest – and funniest – comedy acts perform brand-new new, one-hour, work-in-progress shows. Check them out, for this bargain price, before they head to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

17th July – Fred Cooke and Hannah Mamalis.

Fred Cooke delivers a unique brand of comedy through his musical prowess and wild crafted physical story telling. He became a regular on the highly successful RTÉ Show, The Fear. He has been seen preparing a choral spectical surprise at a proposal in the Electric Picnic, embarrassing one of his fans at the Vodafone Comedy Festival, and proposing to an unexpected lady in Dublin City Centre.

Hannah is a Dublin based actress, writer and comedian. Her screen credits include RTE’s Republic of Telly and Des Bishops This is Ireland, alongside roles on Ripper Street and the Element Distributions/Studio Canal produced feature The Drummer and the Keeper. Stage credits include the comedy Couples Counseling and the sketch show Chaos Theory both of which went on to tour throughout Ireland and the Edinburgh Fringe. Hannah has written two sitcoms for Dublin based Television Production Company Sideline which have been presented to both Sky Ireland and the BBC. Her one-woman show The Egg is a Lonely Hunter which premiered at the Dublin Fringe Festival 17’, was subsequently nominated for three awards and asked to return for the First Fortnight Festival 18. Hannah regularly writes and performs her own material and contributes to Dublin based sketch groups Dreamgun and Chaps Eye.
